Terms of Use

1. The service

OnHand Kitchen provides recipe discovery, recipe organization, guided cooking, timers, planning, Community features, and optional AI-assisted recipe functions. Features may change as the service evolves.

2. Cooking and food-safety responsibility

Recipes, timers, readiness suggestions, translations, and AI-assisted content are informational tools. Ingredients, appliances, food thickness, temperature, and local safety guidance vary. You are responsible for checking food is safely cooked, handling allergens, supervising appliances, and using appropriate food-safety practices. Never rely on a timer alone to determine that food is safe to eat.

3. AI-assisted content

AI-assisted output can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review generated recipes, quantities, temperatures, translations, and cooking steps before relying on them. OnHand Kitchen is designed to assist your judgment, not replace it.

4. Your content and Community

You remain responsible for content you create or publish. By choosing to publish a recipe or profile information to Community, you allow OnHand Kitchen to display that content to other users as needed to operate the Community feature. Do not publish content that is unlawful, abusive, infringes intellectual-property rights, or violates another person's privacy.

5. OnHand Plus subscriptions

OnHand Plus is an auto-renewable subscription offered through Apple's in-app purchase system. The price shown to you by Apple applies in your storefront. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Renewal, cancellation, refunds, and subscription management are handled under Apple's App Store rules and your Apple Account settings.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, automate abusive requests, or use OnHand Kitchen to distribute harmful or unlawful material.

7. Availability

We aim to keep OnHand Kitchen available, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. Network, App Store, hosting, database, or AI-processing services may occasionally be unavailable.

8. Intellectual property

OnHand Kitchen's software, interface, branding, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Rights in user-created content remain subject to the rights of the person who created that content.

9. Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OnHand Kitchen is provided without warranties that it will be error-free or suitable for every cooking situation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Apple terms

When the app is obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable App Store terms and standard end-user license terms also apply.

11. Changes and contact
